About Our Product
This Cosmic Buddha Vairocana Altar Statue is a sacred Tibetan Buddhist sculpture crafted from a copper body with 24K gold plating and detailed acrylic color work. Measuring 20.5 cm in height, 14 cm in length, and 10 cm in width, with a weight of 1.18 kg, this statue represents Vairocana Buddha, the embodiment of universal wisdom, clarity, and enlightened consciousness. Designed for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, shrine rooms, and spiritual collections, it reflects the refined artistry and devotional traditions of Himalayan craftsmanship.
The statue depicts Vairocana Buddha seated peacefully on a lotus throne in the Dharmachakra Mudra (gesture of turning the Dharma wheel), with both hands placed before his chest symbolizing the teaching of the Buddha’s wisdom and the continuous transmission of Dharma. His serene expression, monastic robes, graceful posture, and detailed ornaments represent the purity and vastness of enlightened awareness. The 24K gold plating, acrylic color details, and intricate copper craftsmanship enhance the sacred presence of this revered Buddha figure.
In Tibetan Buddhism, Vairocana is honored as one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas and represents the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, the ultimate nature of reality beyond dualistic perception. His presence is associated with transformation of ignorance into profound wisdom and awareness. Displayed in a shrine room, meditation area, or sacred collection, this gold plated Vairocana statue serves as a meaningful reminder of clarity, enlightenment, universal wisdom, and the journey toward awakening.
Introduction of Vairocana
Vairocana, also known as Mahavairocana Buddha, is one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas in Tibetan Buddhism, revered as the embodiment of the Dharmakaya—the ultimate, formless body of all Buddhas. Often depicted sitting on a lotus pedestal, his hands are in the abhaya mudra (gesture of fearlessness), holding a vase symbolizing the sacred teachings of the Dharma. In the Mandala of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, Vairocana is positioned at the center, representing the all-encompassing wisdom of the Dharmakaya and the fundamental nature of existence. He is considered the primary teacher from whom the other four Dhyani Buddhas receive their wisdom, and meditating on him is believed to reveal the true essence of reality and the path to enlightenment.
