Himalayan Oxidized Art Form For Chenrezig Pure Land Prayer
This Chenrezig Pure Land Prayer figurine was traditionally hand-crafted in our studio by skilled artisans from Nepal using complex design patterns. We used oxidized copper to construct the figure. The god is shown in this representation as having four arms, sitting on a moon disc lotus, and being subdued. The Deity grips rosary beads in his right hand, two of which are clasped in front of him in a gesture of prayer, the wish-fulfilling jewel, a flowering lotus in his left hand, and a wish-fulfilling crystal in his left hand. Hand-carved designed patterns are carved to adorn the figure, particularly on the crown, robe, and body jewelry. With real 24K gold, we have gilded the face of the Deity Chenrezig. As a devotee who regularly engages in disciplines like meditation and yoga, this Chenrezig figurine will be the ideal Nepali gift for someone like you.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop of a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
