About Our Product

This sacred Vairochana Buddha statue is a beautifully handcrafted representation of the Primordial Buddha, symbolizing the dharmakaya, or ultimate truth body, in Vajrayana and Mahayana Buddhism. Made from copper with 24K gold plating, it radiates divine energy and serenity. Standing 20cm tall with a 14.5cm base, this intricately detailed statue weighs 1.26 kg, offering both a visually striking and spiritually meaningful presence for your altar, meditation room, or sacred space.

The figure of Vairochana sits in perfect meditative posture, while behind him is a detailed assembly of disciples or monks. These figures represent enlightened beings who have attained realization and serve as witnesses to the Buddha’s wisdom. Their presence symbolizes the lineage of dharma, the transmission of sacred teachings, and the universal illumination of all sentient beings. This assembly highlights Vairochana’s role as a cosmic teacher whose wisdom supports and inspires practitioners on the path to enlightenment.

Every detail of this statue—the lotus base, the halo, and the assembly of disciples—has spiritual significance. The disciples embody devotion, learning, and the continuous practice of mindfulness, reinforcing the statue’s role as a source of inspiration, meditation, and blessing. Placing this Vairochana statue in your sacred space invites a sense of divine presence, harmony, and clarity, fostering spiritual growth and contemplation while reminding the viewer of the Buddha’s universal teachings.

Introduction to Vairocana

Vairocana/Mahavairocana Buddha is one of the five Dhyani Buddhas sitting on a lotus pedestal surrounded by hundreds of flowers in the statue. He has three heads, and his hands are in a meditative posture. Adhi Buddha created Vairocana as one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas. Vairocana means "luminous" or "embodiment of light" in Sanskrit. Vairocana is a Primordial Buddha who sits in the heart of the temple. He's also known as the "great lighting one," "the Life force that illuminates the cosmos."
