About Our Product
This Buddhist Sacred Altar Box measures 26 cm in height, 36 cm in length, and 14 cm in width, with a weight of 3.1 kg. Handcrafted from copper, crystal, glass, hand carved gemstones, coral, and turquoise, it features elaborate filigree design covering much of the exterior. Fine scrolling metalwork surrounds the decorative panels, while colorful stone inlays, golden borders, crystal details, and glass sections create a richly layered Himalayan appearance. The detailed construction and ornamental craftsmanship make this ritual storage chest a striking addition to Buddhist altars, shrine rooms, meditation spaces, and sacred collections.
This Buddhist Sacred Altar Box has a temple inspired roof with five crystal finials and raised golden metal details. Small turquoise drops hang along the roof edge. The front has three arched glass panels surrounded by detailed filigree work, lotus motifs, coral, turquoise, and hand carved gemstones. Floral designs appear between the arches, while turquoise colored pieces and triangle patterns decorate the lower border. The base has three horizontal sections filled with scrolling filigree patterns and gemstone floral designs. The back has a smoother copper panel with a central sacred ornament decorated with turquoise, coral, and other colored stones. More turquoise drops hang from the back roof edge. The mix of crystal, glass, copper, filigree work, and colorful stones gives the box a rich traditional Himalayan look.
This handcrafted ritual storage chest can be placed on a Buddhist altar, shrine table, meditation room, Dharma center, monastery, temple, or dedicated spiritual space. The enclosed interior can be used for keeping prayer items, ritual accessories, sacred objects, small offerings, or other meaningful belongings together within a devotional setting. Its temple inspired form and richly worked filigree surface can complement daily meditation, prayer, and altar arrangements while adding a distinctive Himalayan presence to the space. It can also be chosen as a meaningful spiritual gift for Buddhist practitioners, collectors, or those interested in traditional sacred craftsmanship.
Introduction of Altar Box
The main purpose of any altar is to help you connect with your higher power, whether that's a deity, spirit guide, or the universe itself. Having an altar in your home can help you stay focused on your spiritual journey and enhance your meditation practice. An altar can also serve as a reminder of what's truly important in life, helping you cultivate virtues like compassion, gratitude, and love. Additionally, working with an altar can aid in healing and personal growth, as it allows you to access higher states of consciousness and tap into your inner wisdom.

The level of craftsmanship by the artisans with Evam Ratna is truly exceptional.. The photos on the website showcase these beautiful items, but the special quality of their presence is felt when beheld directly. When I opened the carefully constructed package and encountered the ghanta, vajra,, rupa, and damaru tassels directly, I was overjoyed. I could feel the heart and care that went into their creation.

Handcrafted Traditional Bhumba | Sacred Ritual Offering Vessel
Looks and feels great 👍
Really enjoyed my experience receiving our Tonka.. We were more than happy with how ours came out! You will be too...
The Manjushri statue I purchased is of very high quality and has tremendous presence on my altar, far exceeding my expectations. It was well packed and arrived surprisingly quickly. Evam Ratna kept me informed throughout the process and even shared additional photos before shipping to ensure I was aware that the statue had oxidized somewhat since the pictures on the site were taken (not an issue but really appreciate the transparency). Thanks again for the beautiful statue -- I'll be a frequent visitor to the website in the future!
The statue came in excellent condition! I was worried especially since I had it consecrated before shipping (which evamratna offers for a fee if you ask!) But the statue came perfectly. Also, it was way bigger than I anticipated which was a lovely surprise, because usually the statues come smaller than I thought when initially buying them. These statues are pricy, but I recommend having at least one in your collection if you can afford it. You’re also supporting local Nepalese craftsmen, and the price I find is reasonable for most people.
Beautiful statue!

We also received a response to our question how old the Statue is and Where It was Made.We Highly recommend EvamRatna as a relieable Company with Experience and Personal Care.

I am truly satisfied with the purchase of this Buddhist Prayer Wheel. The beautiful embossed writing is Davanagari, the Sanskrit/Nepali alphabet also used in Tibet. The formula it reads is the classic mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." This Prayer Wheel's unique feature is the inclusion of sacred figures that represent various aspects of spiritual life with precise meanings. The service I received was impeccable, attentive to my needs, punctual, and always very friendly. I thank Shreya for this attention. I recommend EvamRatna for the extraordinary workmanship of the items for sale. Kind Regards, Enrico Battistotti.
