About Our Product

This Buddhist Offering Dhupur Rice Pot is crafted from a copper body with gold plating, measuring 16cm in height, 6.5cm in length, and 6.5cm in width, with a weight of 0.22 kg. Featuring an elegant cylindrical structure adorned with carved auspicious symbols and elaborate ornamental patterns, this Tibetan Buddhist ritual vessel reflects the decorative traditions of Himalayan sacred art. Its richly detailed exterior combines warm golden tones with deep reddish-brown accents, creating a distinctive contrast that emphasizes the ornamental craftsmanship. The compact proportions and traditional design make this Buddhist rice offering pot suitable for personal altars, monastery shrines, meditation rooms, ceremonial displays, and collections of Himalayan ritual objects.

The Tibetan Dhupur Rice Pot features a tall cylindrical body divided into four decorative sections by raised gold-plated horizontal bands. Each section displays intricately carved auspicious symbols surrounded by curling floral and scroll-like motifs, with golden relief decorations standing prominently against the darker reddish-brown background. The repeated symbolic patterns create a balanced arrangement around the vessel, while the textured surface adds depth to the detailed ornamentation. Its rounded lid features raised floral designs with gold-plated detailing and is crowned by an upright vajra-shaped finial, a recognizable symbol in Vajrayana Buddhist art. The combination of embossed motifs, decorative borders, layered metalwork, and contrasting finishes gives this traditional Himalayan rice pot an elaborate ceremonial appearance.

In Tibetan Buddhist traditions, rice is commonly used in ritual offerings as a symbol of generosity, abundance, purity, and favorable conditions for spiritual practice. A Dhupur rice pot serves as a ceremonial vessel associated with the preparation and presentation of rice offerings during prayers, blessings, and religious ceremonies. The auspicious symbols decorating its surface represent positive qualities such as wisdom, compassion, harmony, and spiritual prosperity, while the vajra-shaped finial is associated with indestructible wisdom and the enlightened mind. This gold-plated Tibetan ritual pot can be incorporated into Buddhist altar arrangements, devotional practices, shrine decoration, and ceremonial collections. It also makes a meaningful spiritual gift for Vajrayana practitioners and collectors of traditional Himalayan Buddhist artwork.

A rice bowl represents prosperity, sustenance, fertility, and abundance. Thus, a Rice Bowl is reputed to assist you in warding off any evils to the household and, at the same time, aid you in achieving prosperity in wealth and happiness in your family life. Mostly seen on the Buddha's hands; traditionally, Buddhist monks would use rice bowls to accept offerings from people.
