This Buddhist Medicine Buddha Figurine depicts the Healing Buddha, a revered deity in Buddhist tradition who provides health, protection, and spiritual purification. This figurine, measuring 15.5cm in height, 10.5cm in breadth, and weighing 0.61kg, represents the Buddha seated in the lotus position, his right hand extended in the gesture of distributing blessings while holding the stem of a medical plant, and his left hand resting on his lap, holding a healing nectar. The statue's calm look and steady position exude calm, making it a practical focal point for meditation and spiritual practice.

The figurine is embellished with intricate robes, excellent lotus pedestal carvings, and delicate hand gestures that represent Buddhist symbolism. The Medicine Buddha is thought to help practitioners achieve physical and spiritual well-being by removing bad energy and promoting inner equilibrium. Introduction To Medicine Buddha :

Medicine Buddha is called the Buddha of Healing, also known as Bhaishajyaguru in Sanskrit. His teachings stress the desire to amass wealth and pleasure in this life while also working to relieve sentient beings from disease, pain, suffering, and misery. Many Mahayana meditators admire his healing prowess. He is typically shown with a begging bowl and medicinal herbs while having a blue (lapis lazuli) body.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
