About Our Product:

This Buddhist Master Thang Tong Gyalpo Statue is a finely crafted representation of the renowned Tibetan Buddhist master, innovator, and yogi Thang Tong Gyalpo. Made from an oxidized copper body with detailed acrylic color work, this sculpture showcases his distinctive appearance through carefully rendered facial features, flowing beard, long hair, and traditional robes. The dark oxidized finish enhances the carved details throughout the sculpture, creating depth and contrast while preserving the traditional aesthetic of Tibetan Buddhist art.

Thang Tong Gyalpo is depicted seated on a lotus pedestal in a meditative posture, wearing his characteristic long beard and hair tied above his head. His right hand extends downward in a teaching gesture while his left hand rests near his heart holding a vajra, symbolizing spiritual realization and the indestructible nature of enlightened wisdom. His intense yet compassionate expression reflects his reputation as a realized master. The layered robes, detailed pedestal, and carefully painted elements highlight the traditional iconography associated with this important Buddhist figure.

This Thang Tong Gyalpo sculpture is suitable for Buddhist altars, meditation spaces, collections, and practitioners who value representations of great masters and lineage holders. Created using machine-made techniques with detailed finishing, this compact statue preserves the symbolic presence of Thang Tong Gyalpo while making it suitable for personal shrines and devotional spaces. It represents the connection between Buddhist teachings, spiritual lineage, and the artistic traditions of Himalayan craftsmanship.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching the face with the bare hand can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting
