About Our Product
This handcrafted Buddhist stupa is a stunning example of Tibetan spiritual art, designed to enhance your meditation and ritual practices. Standing 31cm tall and 15.5cm wide, this stupa is crafted from copper and beautifully mercury gold-plated, creating a radiant, sacred presence. Traditionally used as a focal point for prayers, offerings, and meditative energy, it brings peace and blessings into your home or temple. Its intricate design honors centuries of Himalayan craftsmanship, making it both a devotional object and a work of art.
Every detail of this stupa has been meticulously crafted to represent the sacred path to enlightenment. The elegant tiers, adorned with golden motifs, symbolize purity, compassion, and wisdom, while the base and crown are embellished with detailed patterns that reflect the rich artistry of Tibetan Buddhism. The mercury gold plating not only enhances its visual beauty but also imparts spiritual energy, amplifying positive vibrations during rituals and meditation. Ideal for altars, meditation rooms, or sacred spaces, this stupa serves as a powerful symbol of devotion and inner harmony. Its timeless design makes it a perfect addition for those seeking to deepen their spiritual practice and bring a sense of peace and mindfulness into their surroundings.
Introduction of Stupa
Prior to Buddhism, great teachers were interred in mounds. While some were cremated, others were sometimes buried in a seated, meditative position, covered by an earth mound. Consequently, the domed shape of the stupa came to symbolize a person seated in meditation, much like the Buddha when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The stupa's base represents his crossed legs in a meditative pose, the middle section signifies the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, featuring a pole rising from its apex encircled by a small fence, represents his head. Before human images of the Buddha were created, reliefs frequently depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
