About Our Product
This Buddhist Guru Rinpoche Sculpture is a finely crafted Buddhist sculpture created from a copper body and enhanced with mercury 24K gold plating, acrylic colors, and an antique finish. Measuring 22 cm in height, 14.5 cm in length, and 11 cm in width, with a weight of 1.26 kg, the sculpture portrays Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) seated gracefully upon an ornate lotus pedestal. The antique golden surface, detailed ornaments, sacred attributes, and traditional craftsmanship reflect the rich heritage of Himalayan Buddhist artistry.
Guru Rinpoche is revered in Tibetan Buddhism as the “Second Buddha” due to his extraordinary role in establishing Vajrayana Buddhism in Tibet during the 8th century. This title honors his profound realization, mastery of tantric teachings, and contribution to spreading the Dharma. Known as the Lotus-Born Master, he is believed to have transformed obstacles into wisdom, established the foundation of the Nyingma tradition, and guided countless practitioners through his teachings.
This statue depicts Guru Rinpoche holding the vajra in his right hand, symbolizing indestructible enlightened wisdom, while his left hand holds the skull cup containing the vase of immortality, representing spiritual transformation and realization. His khatvanga staff rests beside him, symbolizing tantric wisdom and the union of enlightened qualities. Displayed in a Buddhist altar, meditation space, or sacred collection, this handcrafted Guru Rinpoche sculpture inspires devotion, protection, wisdom, and a deeper connection with the path of enlightenment.
