This Buddhist Green Tara Wall Hanging is a handcrafted sacred artwork created by Gangaram Maharjan, an artisan with over 20 years of experience in traditional Himalayan craftsmanship. Made in 2025, the piece features a beautifully painted wooden frame with detailed brass elements and acrylic color decoration. The vibrant red border, ornamental patterns, gemstone-like accents, and raised central figures create a unique three-dimensional composition inspired by traditional Buddhist shrine art.
At the center of the artwork is Green Tara, the revered female bodhisattva associated with compassion, protection, and compassionate activity. Surrounding her are representations of other important Buddhist figures: Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) on the right side, symbolizing compassion; Manjushri at the lower section, representing wisdom; Vajrasattva on the left side, associated with purification; and Amitayus Buddha at the bottom, connected with longevity and awakened awareness.
