About Our Product
This Buddhist Ghau Shrine Box measures 11.5 cm in height, 11 cm in length, and 3.5 cm in width, with a weight of 0.13 kg. Made from copper, the shrine box has a pointed traditional form with a central opening for placing a sacred image or devotional object. The front surface is richly decorated with raised motifs, scrolling patterns, and carefully worked borders that give the piece a traditional Tibetan appearance.
This Ghau Shrine Box features a shrine shaped central opening surrounded by several of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism. The decoration includes sacred motifs such as the Endless Knot, Lotus, Victory Banner, Treasure Vase, and other auspicious forms arranged around the frame. These symbols are set among flowing scrollwork and floral patterns, while the beaded outer border follows the pointed shape of the shrine. The lower section continues with raised lotus and offering motifs, creating a balanced decorative frame around the central opening. The back is simpler in design and closes the inner chamber, allowing the ghau to hold a small sacred image, mantra, blessed object, or other devotional item.
This Buddhist Ghau Shrine Box can be placed on a home altar, prayer space, meditation area, monastery shrine, or carried as a personal devotional object. Its sacred opening, auspicious symbols, detailed copper work, and enclosed chamber make it a meaningful container for Buddhist practice and spiritual display.
