About Our Product
This Buddha With Disciples Under Tree Statue presents a detailed Buddhist scene centered on the Buddha seated beneath a branching tree, surrounded by devoted disciples, attendants, birds, and animal figures. Crafted from oxidized copper with silver plating, the sculpture measures 50.5 cm in height, 25 cm in length, and 29 cm in width, with a substantial weight of 9.22 kg. The contrasting copper tones and silver plated areas bring definition to the robes, facial features, tree branches, figures, and layered base, while the carefully formed decorative motifs add depth to the overall composition.
This Shakyamuni Buddha With Disciples shows Buddha sitting peacefully under a large tree while his disciples gather around him. From the top, the tree has spreading branches, leaves, and small birds, creating a calm natural setting. In the center, Shakyamuni Buddha sits with one hand touching the ground and the other resting in his lap, symbolizing wisdom, meditation, and enlightenment. Around him, the disciples kneel with their hands joined, showing respect and devotion, while the standing attendants hold ceremonial flywhisks. The lower part has detailed patterns and wave designs that support the whole scene. Made from oxidized copper with silver plating, this statue represents the Buddha sharing his teachings, the disciples learning from him, and the values of wisdom, peace, devotion, and spiritual practice.
As a Buddhist spiritual sculpture, this composition represents enlightenment, wisdom, devotion, and inner peace. The Buddha seated calmly at the heart of the scene serves as a reminder of awakening through meditation and understanding, while the surrounding disciples symbolize listening, learning, and following the Dharma. Its layered narrative design makes it suitable for a Buddhist altar, meditation room, spiritual space, or meaningful home display, where its imagery can encourage reflection, peaceful awareness, and a deeper connection with Buddhist teachings.
Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king by his royal father's wishes and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29 years old, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
