The body of this sculpture is made of copper and the authentic 24-karat gold gilded highlights the deity's intricacies. The deity is seated on a moon disc lotus with a peaceful expression as he holds a vase above his lap with both hands. This particular statue of the Amitayus Buddha took our artists months of hard work to craft as he is carved with intricate design patterns exclusively done in Nepal. Decorated with numerous body ornaments which have been embedded with many gemstones and plated with silver.

A Buddha is said to have three bodies in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition: a form body (nirmanakaya), an apparitional body (sambhogakaya), and an ultimate truth body (sambhogakaya) (dharmakaya).
