Product Description
Brocaded Bodhisattva Vajrapani Thangka:
Vajrapani is revered as the embodiment of the Buddha's infinite power and is depicted in a wrathful form, symbolizing his fierce and protective nature.
In his standing posture, Vajrapani wears a tiger skin around his waist, symbolizing fearlessness. His hands are positioned in a threatening mudra, emphasizing his authoritative and formidable presence.
Vajrapani holds a vajra (indestructible thunderbolt) in his right hand, representing his unyielding strength and invincible nature. He is adorned with a garland of snakes, which symbolizes anger transformed by his immense compassion and wisdom.
A third eye of wisdom is prominently displayed in the center of Vajrapani's forehead, signifying his profound insight and clarity of perception. He wears a crown adorned with five skulls, symbolizing mastery of the five wisdoms of Buddhas. Atop the crown is a vajra, indicating his connection with the Vajrayana lineage of Buddhism.
The color blue represents Vajrapani's divine qualities and spiritual potency. He is worshipped by devotees seeking protection, strength, and fearlessness in their spiritual journeys.
