Peaceful Bodhisattva of Compassion Chenrezig Thangka

The Bodhisattva of Compassion Chenrezig is elegantly and precisely depicted in this thangka, hand-painted in our Enlightenment Studio. Vibrant acrylic colors are utilized to create the artwork on cotton canvas, with genuine 24K gold incorporated for exquisite details. The gold enhances the crown, jewelry, and offering symbols, giving them depth and spiritual radiance. This thangka adheres to the traditional Karma Gadri style, known for its expansive compositions and soft, flowing landscapes. The background features natural greenery and gentle mountain forms, creating a peaceful environment that frames the central deity in harmony and balance.

Chenrezig is portrayed sitting calmly on a lotus seat, emphasizing his transcendence over samsara and representing purity. He has four arms, symbolizing his ability to reach out in all directions to help sentient beings. His central hands are positioned in Anjali Mudra, a gesture of devotion, while his right upper hand holds a rosary (mala), signifying the continuous cycle of compassion. In his left upper hand, he offers a fully bloomed lotus flower, symbolizing enlightened purity. Draped over one shoulder is a deer skin, representing compassion and non-violence.

He is adorned in silken garments featuring rich patterns of red, orange, blue, and gold, meticulously painted with religious realism. The entire thangka reflects serenity, compassion, and visual devotion, crafted with deep respect for traditional iconography and spiritual purpose.
