About Our Product
This Altar Buddhist Guru Rinpoche Statue measures 23 cm in height and 15.5 cm in width, with a weight of 1.21 kg. Made from copper with a gold finish, the statue presents Guru Rinpoche in a richly detailed seated form. The surface highlights the folds of his robes, crown, jewelry, ritual implements, and lotus base, giving the sculpture a strong traditional Himalayan Buddhist appearance suitable for altar and spiritual display.
This statue features Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, seated on a lotus throne in his traditional Vajrayana form. He wears his distinctive lotus hat and layered robes, with a calm yet powerful expression. His right hand holds a vajra, symbolizing indestructible awakened wisdom, while his left hand rests near the lap holding a skull cup. The khatvanga staff rises beside his left shoulder and is decorated with symbolic ornaments along its shaft. The detailed crown, earrings, garments, ritual objects, and lotus throne complete his traditional iconography and represent his role as a great tantric master and teacher.
This Guru Rinpoche Statue can be placed on a Buddhist altar, home shrine, monastery, Dharma center, meditation room, or prayer space. Its sacred iconography, vajra, skull cup, khatvanga, lotus hat, and seated posture make it a meaningful focus for devotion, meditation, protection practices, and Vajrayana Buddhist practice.
Introduction of Guru Rinpoche
Guru Rinpoche was an instrumental figure in Tibetan Buddhism. In Tibetan Buddhism, Padmasambhava's teachings are said to have both an oral lineage (kama) and a lineage of hidden treasure texts (termas). He is believed to appear in visionary encounters to tertöns, and his form is visualized during guru yoga practice, especially within the Nyingma school. He is revered by Buddhists in Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, India's Himalayan states, and other countries worldwide.
