About Our Statue:
The Lord who gazes down with compassion, Chenresig, also known in Sanskrit as Avalokitesvara, is one of the most beloved and widely revered deities in Buddhism. It measures 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) in height with a base width of 4.3 inches (11 cm). Meticulously handcrafted, it is adorned with 24K gold gilding that highlights its divine elegance, enhanced by intricate gold and acrylic paintings. The statue is made from a durable copper body, combining artistry with enduring quality.

Chenresig is depicted with four arms, symbolizing his infinite compassion and skillful forms. His primary hands are joined at his heart in the praying gesture, holding a wish-fulfilling gem to represent his dedication to the well-being of all beings. His other hand has a crystal rosary and a lotus flower, symbolizing the continuation of his compassionate activity and the purity of his intentions. This Chenresig Statue is ideal for meditation rooms, altars, or as a thoughtful gift, as it is a potent symbol of compassion and spiritual protection.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteshvara, is the Bodhisattva of Compassion and one of the most beloved deities in Tibetan Buddhism. He embodies the boundless compassion of all Buddhas, tirelessly working to help all sentient beings find relief from suffering. Chenrezig is often depicted with multiple arms and hands, symbolizing his ability to reach out to countless beings in need, offering protection and guidance. His presence is a source of comfort and spiritual strength for practitioners.

Introduction to Chenrezig:

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

• Handmade items may have slight variations

• Colors may differ slightly due to natural materials and lighting

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please Note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
