Tibetan Dharma Teacher Thangka of Shakyamuni Buddha | Master of Enlightenment and Teaching
Created with love and skill, this Dharma Teacher Thangka of Shakyamuni Buddha is handmade on cotton canvas with natural Lhasa stone colors and genuine 24K gold, enhancing its divine radiance. Painted in traditional Karma Gadri style, it embodies Tibetan artistic tradition, with each brushstroke filled with spiritual intention.
Shakyamuni Buddha, revered as the Dharma Teacher, exemplifies the wisdom and compassion that are fundamental to Buddhism. Born as Siddhartha Gautama, he attained enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree and delivered profound teachings intended to liberate all beings from suffering. In this thangka, Shakyamuni is depicted with a serene demeanor, his right hand performing the earth-touching mudra—symbolizing his enlightenment—and his left hand resting in meditation on his lap. The artist employs the Karma Gadri tradition to portray the enlightened figure amidst expansive landscapes and intricate details, emphasizing clarity, purity, and his infinite presence.
This thangka is a spiritual treasure of Tibetan artisans, rich in Buddha's wisdom. Natural pigments and gold give it timelessness. Sacred imagery invites peace, devotion, and insight, making it perfect for meditation, shrine display, or as a gift of enlightenment.
