About Our Statue
The Zhabdrung Rinpoche Statue, made of oxidized copper, stands 24 cm tall and 16 cm wide, capturing the revered figure of Bhutan's spiritual leader in exquisite detail. Zhabdrung Rinpoche, a central figure in Bhutanese Buddhism, is depicted wearing traditional attire, including a crown and robes, with a serene yet commanding expression. His beard and mustache are meticulously crafted to represent the wisdom and leadership of this significant historical figure.
The statue's design is heavily symbolic. Zhabdrung Rinpoche is seated meditatively, exuding both authority and calm. His posture reflects that of a teacher and protector, offering guidance and blessings. The folds in his robes are elegantly detailed, with special attention paid to each crevice and line, emphasizing the craftsmanship involved. The oxidized finish gives the statue an aged and venerable appearance, transforming it from a spiritual artifact to a decorative piece with cultural and historical significance. The Zhabdrung Rinpoche Statue is a stunning representation, ideal for collectors or those who want to honor this pivotal figure in Bhutanese history and Buddhist tradition.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
