Wrathful Ekajati Thangka | One-Eyed Guardian Deity of Enlightenment

Original Wrathful Ekajati Thangka | Fierce Protector Goddess of Secret Mantras & Vajrayana Path

Radiate protection and transcendence with this hand-painted Wrathful Ekajati Thangka by a skilled Nepali artist. Painted on cotton with natural stone colors and 24K gold, it captures Ekajati's fierce beauty and sacred energy. The mineral pigments provide vibrancy, while gold accents highlight her divine radiance. Created in the traditional Karma Gadri style, it combines art and spiritual depth, serving as a meditative focus and protective presence.

Ekajati, a protector in Vajrayana Buddhism, embodies enlightened wisdom as a fierce guardian of secret teachings, combining compassion and wrath. Her wrath purifies by cutting ignorance and ego, symbolized as the “One-Plaited Mother” with a single eye, breast, and hair, representing non-duality and indivisible wisdom. She guards practitioners on the tantric path, helping them overcome obstacles and guiding them toward realization and clarity.

This thangka shows Wrathful Ekajati with a blue body, standing on a lotus and sun disc for illusion control. Her crown and garland symbolize ego and ignorance transcendence. Her one eye gazes with awareness; her knife and skull cup show mastery over duality. Her tiger-skin skirt reflects fearlessness; her fierce expression embodies divine compassion. Gold highlights and fine details enhance her commanding presence, symbolizing Vajrayana devotion. Invite her to awaken protection, wisdom, and inner strength. Her fierce compassion dispels negativity, clears your path, and empowers your meditative journey with courage and clarity.
