Vajrasattva Symbol of Purification Thangka | Bell and Vajra Holder
The delicately hand-painted Vajrasattva Symbol of Purification Thangka was made on high-quality cotton canvas utilizing 24K gold and natural stone colors. In order to capture the essence of Vajrasattva, talented artists at Enlightenment Studio have used ancient Tibetan techniques to create the vivid colors and complex details. In addition to being a work of beauty, this sacred thangka can be used as a means of meditation to call for purification and the elimination of bad karma.
Vajrasattva, the Bodhisattva of purification, is widely revered in Vajrayana Buddhism for his ability to cleanse the mind and soul. Vajrasattva is a sign of divine transformation and the purity of the enlightened mind that leads practitioners to spiritual enlightenment, healing, and inner serenity. He is a significant figure in tantric traditions due to his role as the cleanser of negative karma. Vajrasattva is shown in this thangka sitting elegantly on a lotus seat, encircled by a moon disc and a halo, which stand for his heavenly luminosity and enlightened state. The vajra in his right hand denotes the unbreakable quality of purity, while his five-jeweled crown stands for his wisdom and absolute might. In cleansing rites, the bell and spinning scarf are among his representational qualities. The purity that results from spiritual meditation is symbolized by the delicate lotus petals underneath him. His calm manner and peaceful expression convey the profound serenity that results from inner purification and the removal of negative energies.
