Himalayan Traditionally Hand-Carved Vajrasattva Statue for Spiritual Healing
This Vajrasattva statue is a masterpiece of traditional Himalayan artistry, meticulously hand-carved in our studio. The statue depicts the Bodhisattva in a serene and peaceful state, seated on a lotus seat in the lotus posture. The statue is made of copper and then gilded with genuine 24K gold, giving it a brilliant luster and highlighting the intricate design patterns. The Buddha's right-hand holds a vajra, symbolizing the indestructible and unchanging nature of reality, while his left-hand holds a bell, representing emptiness and the sound of wisdom. Our skilled artists took several months to carve the statue's intricate patterns and motifs, which are beautifully highlighted with acrylic colors.
The statue is perfect for any devotee like yourself and can be used for various Buddhist rituals and activities like meditation and yoga.

Vajrasatva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
