Himalayan Gold Gilded Vajrasattva Heruka Statue
The statue of the Vajrasattva Heruka was traditionally hand crafted by the master craftsmen of Nepal with intricate design patterns. The statue is carved using a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold and finely painted with acrylic paint which highlights the design patterns of the statue. In this artwork, the deity is depicted sitting on a moon disc lotus seat, with a tranquil expression while holding a bell in his right hand and a vajra in his left. This statue can be used in a variety of auspicious Buddhist rituals, at regular meditation or yoga sessions, or even during various interior activities. The sculpture of the deity took our artists months of hard work to carve with flawless design patterns.

Vajrasattva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
