Tishna Manjushri Namasangiti Practice Statue
The Tishna Manjushri Namasangiti Practice Statue was hand-carved by our team, utilizing ancient Himalayan techniques. We are the skilled craftspeople of the Kathmandu Valley, and we have been producing classic Vajrayana sculptures for many years. The Manjushri is depicted seated on a moon-disc lotus seat with his left hand holding an utpala with a Prajnaparamita book resting on it and the right hand making the Dharma teaching motion with his two hands closer to his heart. Since we hand-carved the statue's oxidized copper body, the design, building, and polishing took us more than a month to accomplish. The elaborate geometric patterns were hand-carved using a hammer and tiny chisels.
Size: 6.2"/16cm (Height) x 4.3"/11cm (Base)
Weight: 0.71 kg
Material: Oxidized Copper Body
According to one tradition, he attained perfect enlightenment a long time back. He purposefully descended into the world as a Bodhisattva for the welfare of all sentient beings. He was one of the eight chief disciples of Lord Shakyamuni who used to raise questions concerning the emptiness for the benefit of other listeners. The Buddhists believe that he is the sole deity of wisdom who blesses the devotees to sharpen their memory and intellect. As a result, a devotee can penetrate the vast and profound meanings of the Buddha's teachings. Without the blessings of Mañjuśri, nobody can develop the realization of emptiness.
