About Our Product

The Handcrafted Tsongkhapa Deity Statue is a sacred representation of Je Tsongkhapa, the great Tibetan master of wisdom and compassion, revered as the founder of the Gelug tradition in Vajrayana Buddhism. Expertly crafted from a copper body with 24K gold plating and acrylic color detailing, this statue measures 23.5cm in height, 14.5cm in length, and 10.5cm in width, with a weight of 1.53 kg. Its balanced form and radiant finish make it suitable for Buddhist altar spaces, meditation rooms, shrine arrangements, and spiritual practice environments.

Tsongkhapa is shown sitting in a calm meditation pose, representing deep understanding, discipline, and the balance of wisdom and compassion. His hands are in the Dharmachakra mudra, which means the “Turning of the Wheel of Dharma” and represents teaching the Buddha’s path. He wears a detailed Pandita hat and flowing robes that show his knowledge of scriptures, logic, and meditation. His peaceful face reflects inner calm and wisdom. The lotus base beneath him stands for purity, spiritual growth, and a strong foundation of enlightened understanding.

This Tsongkhapa Statue is used for meditation, study, mantra recitation, and devotional offerings. Practitioners place it on their altar to cultivate wisdom, clarity, ethical discipline, and spiritual understanding. Its gold-plated finish, traditional craftsmanship, and sacred iconography make it a meaningful addition to any Buddhist shrine, meditation practice, or sacred collection display.

Introduction of Tsongkhapa

Great Tibetan Buddhist Master Je Tsongkhapa, also known as Losang Dragpa, flourished in the 14th century. He further developed the Kadampa school of Buddhism, which Atisha had founded three centuries prior. Atisha's teachings were already well-known across Tibet; Tsongkhapa further clarified them, outlining a path to enlightenment that every individual could follow, regardless of their background. He emphasized the importance of moral discipline, a compassionate way of life, and profound, liberating insight, culminating in the ultimate goal of achieving Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings. His followers, known as the Gelugpas, remain prominent in Tibetan Buddhism today.
