About Our Product
The Tibetan Buddhist Stupa for Ritual embodies the sacred essence of Tibetan Buddhism. This stupa measures 53 cm in height and 28 cm in width, weighs 3.45 kg, and is crafted from copper with electro-gold and silver plating. Adorned with beautifully set gemstones, it reflects the spiritual harmony and beauty of Tibetan rituals. Traditionally used as a focal point in monasteries, meditation spaces, and personal shrines, this stupa serves as a powerful symbol of enlightenment, peace, and protection.
This stupa is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans who have preserved ancient Tibetan traditions. Its gold and silver plating symbolize purity and divine energy, while the gemstones enhance its spiritual significance. Ideal for enhancing your altar or shrine, this stupa creates a serene environment for meditation and spiritual practice. It also makes a thoughtful gift for those seeking to deepen their spiritual journey.
Introduction of Stupa
Before Buddhism, great teachers were buried in mounds. Some were cremated, but sometimes they were buried in a seated, meditative position. The mound of earth covered them up. Thus, the domed shape of the stupa came to represent a person seated in meditation, much as the Buddha was when he achieved Enlightenment and knowledge of the Four Noble Truths. The base of the stupa represents his crossed legs as he sat in a meditative pose. The middle portion is the Buddha’s body, and the top of the mound, where a pole rises from the apex surrounded by a small fence, represents his head. Before images of the human Buddha were created, reliefs often depicted practitioners demonstrating devotion to a stupa.
