About Our Product
This Tibetan Altar Offering Kapala is a sacred Tibetan Buddhist ritual vessel crafted from a copper body with electro gold plating and silver plated detailing. Measuring 21.5 cm in height, 12 cm in length, and 12 cm in width, with a weight of 0.46 kg, this vessel carries a radiant devotional presence for Buddhist altars, Vajrayana shrine rooms, meditation spaces, puja rituals, and spiritual ceremonies.
The design features a covered Kapala form with a rounded silver plated bowl, an ornate domed lid, a vajra finial at the top, and a richly decorated pedestal base. The electro gold plated details highlight the lid, rim, base, floral patterns, and carved ornamental sections, while the silver plated bowl adds a bright sacred contrast. Its layered form, openwork base, and traditional Himalayan motifs give the vessel a graceful altar appearance for offering practice and ceremonial display.
In Vajrayana Buddhist practice, a Kapala is used as a symbolic offering vessel connected with purification, transformation, wisdom, and the release of ordinary attachment. It represents the offering of ego, ignorance, and delusion into the path of awakening. Placed on an altar, this gold plated Kapala becomes a meaningful reminder of devotion, inner peace, spiritual discipline, and the journey toward enlightenment through sacred practice.
Introduction To The Kapala :
The Kapala set holds the nectar used in higher esoteric rituals. It offers liberation to gods and deities, ensuring their devotion. The offerings are said to be transformed into the Wisdom Nectar, a liquid form of the deity's Enlightened Mind.
