Green Tara is a highly revered deity in Tibetan Buddhism, the embodiment of compassion, protection, and swift action. She is considered a Bodhisattva (a being who seeks enlightenment for the benefit of all sentient beings) and is often referred to as the Mother of all Buddhas. Green Tara is associated with healing and compassionate protection, offering relief from suffering and danger. Her main qualities include her quick response to those who call on her, symbolizing immediate protection. She is also regarded as a guide on enlightenment, helping practitioners overcome obstacles.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
