About Our Stupa :
This handcrafted statue of a Stupa, 28 cm tall and 13 cm broad, is a revered Tibetan Buddhist monument representing enlightenment, serenity, and spiritual awakening. Made of high-quality copper with a dazzling gold-plated finish, it weighs 1.632kg and would make an excellent addition to temples, meditation areas, or home altars.
The stupa's round base depicts the Buddha's lotus throne, representing earth, solidity, and the five forces of faith, concentration, mindfulness, perseverance, and wisdom. Above it is a four-stepped pedestal that represents the Buddha's crossed legs. The cylindrical torso signifies water and the seven enlightenment conditions: focus, effort, serenity, flexibility, mindfulness, joy, and knowledge. The Harmika, a square box, symbolizes the Buddha's eyes and the eightfold noble path. The copper and gold crowning steeple comprises 13 rings signifying enlightenment and Buddha's powers, a parasol for wind, and the Sun and Moon for wisdom and technique.
Introduction To The Stupa :
The stupa represents Buddha, his enlightened intellect, and his physical presence. It is thought to depict the sitting Buddha meditating and seeking enlightenment. The spire symbolizes enlightenment, the peak of Buddhist attainment.
