Shree Yantra Mandala Thangka

Introduction To The Thangka :

The Holi Sri Yantra, also known as the Sri Chakra, is a vital emblem of Tantra, a Hindu philosophy. It is made up of nine mandalas made up of nine overlapping triangles of varying sizes.

The triangles pointing upwards represent Shiva and the masculine, while the triangles pointing downwards represent Shakti, the divine feminine who is also represented in the Yoni Yantra Mandala.

This ancient symbol also has significant cosmic significance. In reality, it has been discovered that the design of the Sri Yantra, particularly the triangles, is based on the Golden Ratio, a mathematical and geometrical equation found throughout creation. The Sri Yantra depicts the spread of the universe from the mandala's core and represents the confluence of feminine and masculine energy.

This Mandala is an excellent visual tool for attaining higher levels of consciousness and deep meditation.
