Serenely Seated Shakyamuni Buddha Statue for Meditation
In our studio, we have created a stunning Shakyamuni buddha statue, crafted using a traditional Himalayan carving technique passed down through generations from Nepal. The statue is made of oxidized copper, giving it an antique elegance that is both charming and unique. In the statue, the Buddha is shown sitting atop a moon disc lotus seat with an alms bowl over his lap on his right hand. In his left hand, he forms the 'Bhumisparsa Mudra,' which is one of the most significant moments of Buddha's life, as he claimed the earth as his witness for his enlightenment. The Buddha's serene facial expression is beautifully highlighted with acrylic paints, further enhancing the statue's beauty.
