Siddhartha Gautama was born the crown prince of the powerful Shakya Kingdom and was raised to be a monarch by his royal father's wishes. He heard about people's enormous anguish when he was approximately 29. He gave up his palace life and all of his opulent robes and wealth to figure out what was causing the pain and how to relieve it. He reached his goal after nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and intense focus. He'd reached nirvana (a Buddha). He then claimed to have gone to a deer park in Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
