Using the traditional methods of hand-craving we have crafted this traditional rice pot for ceremonies. The bowl of rice, carefully crafted boasts intricate design carvings. We have included all the 8 auspicious symbols on the body of the rice pot. We used a hammer and small chisels to hand-carve the intricate design patterns. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. He has to fulfill every minute detail on the statue based on the traditional iconography in Buddhist scriptures.

A rice bowl represents prosperity, sustenance, fertility, and abundance. Thus, a Rice Bowl is reputed to assist you in warding off any evils to the household and at the same time, aid you in achieving prosperity both in wealth and happiness in your family life. Primarily seen in the hands of the Buddha, traditionally, Buddhist monks would use rice bowls to accept offerings offered by people. They used to survive with the monks' offerings, usually rice, food, or money. Even today, the such practice exists in some parts.
