This Rice Bowl is entirely hand-carved; composed of crystal, copper alloy with delicate complex filigree hand carvings called as siko carvings in local word, it is gold plated and embellished with Coral, Turquoise, Lapis, and Crystal Stones to produce a rich and sensual finish. The Rice Bowl is adorned with magnificent carvings created from various stones, giving it a great appearance and style.

Introduction To Buddhist Rice Bowl:

A rice bowl is a clear symbol of wealth, nutrition, fertility, and abundance. Thus, a Rice Bowl is said to help you fight off any ills in the household while also assisting you in obtaining success in both riches and happiness in your family life. Typically shown in the hands of the Buddha, rice bowls were formerly used by Buddhist monks to take donations made by people. The monks used to subsist on the offerings they received, which were usually rice, food, or money. Such practices can still be found in some areas today.
