Green Tara sits gracefully upon a blooming lotus throne, symbolizing purity and spiritual awakening. Her posture—the royal ease pose—with one leg extended and the other folded in meditation, embodies both readiness to respond to suffering and inner tranquility. Her right hand reaches downward, holding the stem of a lotus, signifying her compassionate engagement with the world and her wisdom in overcoming obstacles. Her left hand, raised to her heart in the mudrā of the Three Jewels, honors the Buddha, the Dharma (teachings), and the Sangha (spiritual community). A blue utpala flower blossoms beside each shoulder, its resilient bloom representing enlightened compassion arising even in the face of suffering. With a youthful and serene expression, Green Tara radiates warmth and approachability. She is adorned in sacred jewelry—necklaces, earrings, bangles, anklets—and wears a five-leaf crown, signifying her awakened nature and the richness of the Dharma she embodies.

She is considered a savior who responds quickly to the needs and prayers of her devotees, helping them overcome obstacles, fears, and dangers on the path to spiritual realization. Green Tara, known as the "Mother of Liberation," is one of the most beloved deities in Tibetan Buddhism. Her mantra, "Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha," is chanted for her blessings and swift, compassionate action.

Introduction To The Green Tara:

Green Tara is one of the principal deities who deals with us confused and distracted beings, bringing us back to our original state. It helps you release hope for a particular outcome and get the energy back to yourself, generating inner peace and clarity. She is believed to be incarnate in every pious woman. Green is connected to the element of wood in the five elements. Wood element inspires rejuvenation, compassion, flexibility, and growth.

She is considered a protector who comes to our aid to relieve us of our physical, emotional, and spiritual suffering.

How do take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a
glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching with the bare hand objects can
smudge the face, leaving scratches.
