These two matching ritual vases are made of copper and coated with pure 24K gold. . The spouts, bases, and covers are beautifully hand carved with designs of flowers and other Buddhist symbols. The vases are identical except for the sacred syllables and other symbols inscribed around their rims.
Introduction to Chegumba
The Bhumba, or Ritual Vase, is an important ceremonial item used for holding holy water that the Guru has blessed. These are called the “chief” or “principal” vase and the “action” or “working” vase. The principal vase is filled with holy water and remains on the monastery or temple altar. In contrast, the action vase is used for the actual pouring of water for purification during the various stages of the ritual. The Bhumba Set or Ritual Vase is made of copper alloy, plated with gold, and has fine hand carvings.Size: 14cm(Height) and 9cm(Base)
