The Guru Dragpo statue portrays Guru Rinpoche's wrathful but loving essence. Standing 13.2" (33.5cm) tall with a base width of 9.4" (24cm) and weighing 3.26 kg, this statue is a beautiful work of Tibetan holy art that would look great on your Buddhist altar or spiritual place.
He wears a crown adorned with skulls and a garland of severed heads. In this wrathful meditational form, Guru Dragpo was an important protector deity of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism. He stands before a flaming halo atop a male and female body. He wears a human skull and a snake as an ornament. His headpiece is carved from five skulls, and he is seen holding a vajra in his right hand and a scorpion in the other hand. The Sculpture is constructed on a copper body and plated with silver by a group of skilled master artists from Nepal.
