The Oxidized Guru Rinpoche Artwork, also known as Padmasambhava, the founder of Tibetan Buddhism, represents enlightenment, compassion, and spiritual mastery. This handcrafted statue is 6.5" (Height) x 3.9" (Base) and weighs 0.55 kg. It is made of solid oxidized copper. Created by expert Nepalese artisans, it represents Himalayan Buddhism's holy traditions, making it an appealing addition to altars, meditation places, or sacred collections.

Guru Rinpoche is represented sitting in a royal posture, presenting confidence and spiritual mastery. His right hand holds a vajra, which represents indestructible power, while his left hand holds a skull cup (kapala) filled with the nectar of wisdom. The khatvanga, a trident ornamented with symbolic components reflecting his tantric attainment and the union of wisdom and compassion, rests on his left shoulder.

Introduction to Guru Rinpoche:

Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, miraculously appeared at the age of eight from a blooming lotus in Lake Dhanakosha, fulfilling a prophecy of Shakyamuni Buddha. Not born from a womb, he manifested spontaneously, radiating profound wisdom and compassion. His arrival marked the dawn of Vajrayana Buddhism, and he became known as the Second Buddha, transforming obstacles and guiding beings toward enlightenment. Among his significant achievements, Guru Rinpoche is credited with subduing powerful demons and spiritual barriers that hindered the spread of Buddhism. He established the first monastery in Tibet, Samye, and initiated the practice of Vajrayana, bringing advanced tantric teachings to the region. His wisdom and guidance laid the foundation for the flourishing of Tibetan Buddhism, and he is revered as a master who harmonized the teachings of tantra, mantra, and meditation. How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
• Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
