White Tara, revered as one of the Three Long Life Deities, embodies compassion and longevity. She is elegantly seated in the padmasana (full lotus) posture atop a moon disc and lotus base, symbols of purity and enlightened presence. Her right hand displays the Varada Mudra, offering blessings and compassion, while her left hand holds a lotus in the Vitarka Mudra, signifying teaching and spiritual growth free from suffering. Distinctively, White Tara features seven eyes—two on her face, one on her forehead, and one on each hand and foot—symbolizing her boundless perception and profound wisdom that perceives all suffering. Wearing a crown representing the Five Dhyani Buddhas, she embodies the five wisdoms that dispel ignorance and cultivate enlightened awareness. Her celestial beauty is enhanced by divine ornaments, such as necklaces, bracelets, and flowing silks, which highlight her graceful and radiant form.

White Tara, a prominent figure in Tibetan Buddhism, is known as the goddess of compassion and longevity. How do you take care of your statues?

•    Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
•    Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
•    Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet. 
•    Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.

Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
