About Our Buddha Statue:

This Oxidized Copper Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha is a beautifully handcrafted piece made from oxidized copper, offering a warm antique finish that enhances its sacred presence. Measuring 12.5cm in height and 8.5cm in width, this statue weighs 0.86kg, giving it stability and elegance on any altar or meditation shelf. The rich patina of the oxidized copper highlights traditional Himalayan artistry and brings an earthy, timeless character to the sculpture.

Shakyamuni Buddha is depicted in the classic bhumisparsha mudra, with his right hand touching the earth and left hand holding the alms bowl—representing the moment of enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree. The serene facial expression, finely carved robe patterns, and lotus pedestal emphasize spiritual purity and devotion. The detailed lotus base symbolizes spiritual growth, reminding practitioners of the Buddha’s teachings emerging from the depths of compassion and wisdom.

Ideal for Buddhist altars, meditation rooms, yoga spaces, and sacred home decor, this oxidized copper Buddha statue radiates tranquility and reflection. Whether you are enhancing your personal practice or gifting a meaningful piece of spiritual art, this statue brings blessings of peace, clarity, and mindfulness into any environment.

Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha:

Shakyamuni Buddha, once Prince Siddhartha of the Shakya clan, left behind his royal comforts to seek a more profound truth beyond the joys and sorrows of the world. Through intense meditation and ascetic practice beneath the Bodhi tree, he attained enlightenment and became the Buddha—the Awakened One. Devoted to sharing the path to liberation, he taught the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path. Shakyamuni symbolizes the potential for awakening in everyone, embodying wisdom that conquers ignorance and fosters serene detachment. His enduring presence invites us to cultivate compassion and mindfulness, and to embark on a transformative journey within ourselves.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
