Product Description
Sacred Buddha Amitabha Thangka | Traditional Karma Gadri Artistry
In this original thangka, Buddha Amitabha is portrayed with tranquil grandeur, hand-painted with acrylics and embellished with genuine 24K gold on cotton canvas. Created by master artisans in the Enlightenment Studio, it showcases fine detailing, radiant colors, and spiritual energy. Revered in Mahayana Buddhism as the Buddha of Infinite Light, Amitabha promises rebirth in the Pure Land to those who call upon him with faith, offering an eternal realm of peace and enlightenment.
Amitabha Buddha is a central figure in Pure Land traditions, symbolizing liberation through devotion and compassion. In a thangka, he is depicted in the whole vajra posture upon a moon disc, positioned atop a pink lotus seat that symbolizes purity and transcendence. His hands rest in dhyana mudra, holding an alms bowl containing immortality nectar. His ruby-red body shines peacefully, and his robe is intricately detailed with gold patterns. His feet bear dharma wheel symbols, representing his sovereignty as a universal teacher. A soft halo encircles his head, emphasizing his awakened nature. The image reflects compassion and the promise of rebirth into Sukhavati, the Western Pure Land.
