This is the thangka of Milarepa who is believed as Tibet's most beloved and highly accomplished Buddhist master. He is depicted sitting on an animal skin, meditating between the cooking pot and a beautiful deer in mountain caves. His right hand is raised to his right ear in a listening gesture, while his left-hand holds a skull cup. The cave is surrounded by magnificent green trees and clouds, which brings a practitioner positive vibes.

How Can Thangka Be Cleaned?
Keep a thangka somewhere dry. You should very gently brush the dirt off the thangka's surface using a very soft brush. Be very careful not to disrupt the surface when brushing. Never use a brush so vigorously that the painted surface shines.
