Introduction To Shiva :
Shiva is one of the principal deities in Hinduism and is known as the destroyer of the world in the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. He is also revered as the god of yoga and meditation, known for his asceticism and celibacy. Lord Shiva is often depicted with a blue throat, which is said to have come from drinking poison to save the world. He is also frequently depicted holding a trident, representing his power over the three worlds: heaven, earth, and the underworld. Lord Shiva is often accompanied by his consort, Parvati, and their two sons, Ganesha and Kartikeya. Shiva is a revered deity in Hinduism, worshipped by millions of people worldwide.
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
