About Our Statue:

Presenting the Laxmi Sculpture: a representation of the Hindu goddess of wealth, prosperity, good fortune, and beauty, Laxmi. At a mere 6.6 inches in height and 4.9 inches at the base, with a weight of 0.89 kg, this sculpture embodies Goddess Laxmi's tranquil elegance and abundant presence. This piece, made of an oxidized copper body with 24K gold plating for timeless elegance, is further enhanced by intricate paintings in gold and acrylic that represent the goddess' unbounded generosity and the abundance she bestows upon her devotees.

The four hands on the classic depiction of Goddess Laxmi stand for the four primary life goals—Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha—that are significant to the Hindu philosophy. Each hand is depicted holding symbolic items, including a lotus and a pot of gold, and her benevolent gestures to Varada Mudra and Abhaya Mudra, signifying her role as a provider of prosperity and protection. The 24K gold gilding highlights her divine form, casting a warm glow that enriches any spiritual or living space. While her role in Hinduism is closely connected to the preservation of cosmic order through Vishnu, in Buddhism she is seen more independently, representing the nurturing and sustaining aspects of abundance on the path to enlightenment.

How do you take care of your statues?

• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by a Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
