Introduction to Shakyamuni Buddha :
Siddhartha Gautama was raised as a king in accordance with the wishes of his royal father and was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom. When he was about 29, he learned of people's immense suffering. He renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune in order to discover the source of the anguish and find a cure. After over six years of study, self-denial, and tremendous concentration, he finally achieved his objective. He had attained nirvana (a Buddha). He then asserted that he had visited a deer park outside of Varanasi, India's Sarnath (Benares).
How do you take care of your statues?
• Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is completely free of moisture and dust.
• Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
• Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face. • Directly touching with the bare hand objects can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
