About Our Product
The Kapala Vessel for Sacred Offerings is a silver plated copper ritual bowl traditionally associated with Tibetan Buddhist altar practice. Measuring 13.5cm in height, 10.5cm in length, and 10.5cm in width, with a weight of 0.15kg, this offering vessel is made for shrine tables, meditation rooms, puja spaces, and sacred decor. Its compact size and detailed design make it suitable for holding symbolic offerings during spiritual practice or for displaying as a meaningful ritual object.
The vessel is designed with three separate parts: the inner bowl, the ornate lotus shaped base, and the decorative lid. The base is shaped like blooming lotus petals, with a skull motif at the front that reflects the tantric symbolism of impermanence and transformation. The lid is decorated with raised patterns and crowned with a vajra finial, while the rounded bowl rests neatly inside the lotus support. Silver plating gives the piece a soft ritual shine, and the carved details create a traditional Himalayan appearance from base to top.
In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Kapala is used as a sacred offering vessel and is often connected with transformation, wisdom, and the offering of ordinary attachments into enlightened awareness. It can be placed on a Buddhist altar, shrine table, meditation corner, or ritual display as part of daily puja or devotional practice. This silver plated Kapala also serves as a reminder of impermanence, inner purification, compassion, and the path toward awakening.
Introduction of Kapala
The Kapala set holds the nectar used in higher esoteric rituals. It offers liberation to gods and deities, ensuring they remain loyal to the practitioner. The offerings within a Kapala are said to transform into the Wisdom Nectar, a liquid form of the deity's Enlightened Mind.
