Introduction To The Thangka :

When hanging, this mandala will add to the beauty of any room. The Kalachakra mandala is known as the "Palace of Purity," and it houses over 700 deities symbolized by numerous signs and symbols. The palace's entrances closest to the center are known as cittacakra (mind-wheels), while the intermediate doors are known as vakcakra (voice-wheels). Figures of different animals, including a corpse and a marigold-like lotus flower, may be seen outside Vakcakra's gates.

How to take care of your thangka?

-Hang your thangka in a traditional silk brocade
-Regular Inspection of your thangka; examine the borders and all attachments.
-Keep thangkas covered when they are on display but not in use.
-Rotate thangkas between display and storage on a regular basis, two to four times a year, to reduce the amount of exposure to light. Keep away from sunlight and humidity.
-Do not apply liquids or other materials to the surface of the thangka.
