Shakyamuni Buddha is shown in the earth-touching pose, which represents the moment he reached enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, symbolizing victory over ignorance and bringing peace, clarity, and calmness to any space.

With its delicate craftsmanship, the statue captures the essence of Buddhist teachings. The rich details in the robe and facial features represent Shakyamuni Buddha’s wisdom and compassion. The oxidized copper body gives the statue an ancient and authentic appearance, further enhanced by the silver plating. The lotus base on which Buddha sits signifies purity and the potential for spiritual growth, while the carefully chosen acrylic colors enhance the vibrancy of the statue, bringing it to life and inviting peace into any space.

This statue is a perfect addition to any sacred space, offering a tangible reminder of the path to enlightenment. The Traditional Altar Shakyamuni Buddha Statue serves as a focal point for meditation and prayer, providing both a visual and spiritual connection to the Buddha’s teachings. Whether used for personal reflection or as part of a larger altar setup, this statue represents the embodiment of peace and the transformative power of spiritual practice.

Introduction of Shakyamuni Buddha

Siddhartha Gautama was born the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom, raised as a king according to his royal father's wishes. Around age 29, he became aware of humanity's immense suffering. He then renounced his palatial lifestyle, lavish clothing, and fortune to discover the source of this anguish and find a cure. After more than six years of study, self-denial, and intense concentration, he finally achieved his objective, attaining nirvana and becoming a Buddha. He subsequently taught his insights, reportedly in a deer park outside Sarnath (Benares), near Varanasi, India.
