About Our Product
This Himalayan Sita Tara Statue measures 13.5cm in height, 10.5cm in length, and 5cm in width, with a weight of 0.45 kg. Crafted with a copper body and finished with 24K gold plating and acrylic color, the sculpture presents Sita Tara, also known as White Tara, in her peaceful seated form. In Tibetan Buddhism, Sita Tara represents compassion, long life, healing, protection, wisdom, and peaceful awareness.
This Sita Tara statue features an elaborate crown, a peaceful expression, detailed jewelry, arm ornaments, and flowing scarves. She is traditionally depicted with seven eyes: two on her face, a third eye on her forehead, one on each palm, and one on each sole of her feet. These seven eyes represent her all-seeing compassion, wisdom, and awareness of the suffering of beings. Her right hand extends downward in Varada Mudra, the gesture of generosity and giving blessings, while the eye on her palm is clearly shown. Her left hand is raised near her heart in a graceful gesture. Lotus flowers rise beside both shoulders, representing purity and spiritual awakening. She sits with crossed legs in a peaceful meditation posture upon a detailed lotus throne, completing her traditional iconography.
This Sita Tara statue is suitable for a Buddhist altar, meditation room, prayer space, shrine, Dharma space, or spiritual collection. Her peaceful form serves as a meaningful reminder of compassion, awareness, healing, protection, and the wish for a long and meaningful life.
Introduction to White Tara
