About Our Product

This handcrafted Chenrezig statue, crafted from copper and adorned with 24K gold plating and acrylic color, embodies compassion and tranquility. Standing 16.5 cm tall, this magnificent statue is intended to bring peace and harmony into your home or meditation space. The fine craftsmanship and vibrant colors highlight Chenrezig's tranquil expression and symbolic gestures, making it a wonderful addition to any spiritual collection.

Chenrezig is depicted seated in padmāsana (lotus posture) on a lotus base, with the hands in anjali mudrā holding a cintāmaṇi (wish-fulfilling jewel), symbolizing compassion and benevolence. The upper right hand holds a rosary (mālā) for counting mantras, and the upper left hand holds a utpala flower, representing purity. He wears a five-pointed crown, highlighting his enlightened status and spiritual presence.

Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteśvara in Sanskrit, is the Bodhisattva of compassion (karuṇā) in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. He embodies the compassionate energy of all Buddhas and is revered as a protector and guide who hears the cries of sentient beings and works tirelessly to relieve their suffering.

Introduction of Chenrezig

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as 'the lord who observes in all directions.' The practice of Chenrezig encourages the development of a calm and compassionate heart, as compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings during times of challenge and difficulty.

How Do You Take Care of Your Statues?
  • Place them at room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight.
  • Make sure that the area where your statue is placed is entirely free of moisture and dust.
  • Place it at the highest place on your altar after being consecrated by the Lama/monks. The best practice is to keep them covered inside a glass cabinet.
  • Do not use your bare hands or any objects with a rough surface to wipe the face.
  • Directly touching objects with the bare hand can smudge the face, leaving scratches.
Consecration Service Available

Each statue contains a sacred chamber for mantra and relic fillings to bestow spiritual empowerment. During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.

Please note: Once consecrated, the statue becomes a sacred object and cannot be returned or refunded.
