This handcrafted Chenrezig statue, crafted from copper and adorned with 24K gold plating and acrylic color, embodies compassion and tranquility. Chenrezig is depicted seated in padmāsana (lotus posture) on a lotus base, with the hands in anjali mudrā holding a cintāmaṇi (wish-fulfilling jewel), symbolizing compassion and benevolence. The upper right hand holds a rosary (mālā) for counting mantras, and the upper left hand holds a utpala flower, representing purity. He wears a five-pointed crown, highlighting his enlightened status and spiritual presence.
Chenrezig, also known as Avalokiteśvara in Sanskrit, is the Bodhisattva of compassion (karuṇā) in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. He embodies the compassionate energy of all Buddhas and is revered as a protector and guide who hears the cries of sentient beings and works tirelessly to relieve their suffering.

During consecration, these sacred items are placed inside and blessed through traditional rituals performed by the ordained monks. There is a fee for this service, offered as a respectful contribution to the monastery.
